World Cancer Day

Monday February 4th was World Cancer Day. Each year on 4 February, World Cancer Day empowers all of us across the world to show support, raise our collective voice, take personal action and press our governments to do more. World Cancer Day is the only day on the global health calendar where we can all unite and rally under the one banner of cancer in a positive and inspiring way. NutriGoal feels very strongly about this cause, and has created a Colour Chart with foods that supports the body in the fight against cancer. Protein Rich Breakfast

Before you get started with your day, make sure you eat a proper breakfast. Because remember the old saying: Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper! Here is a great recipe to get you going for the rest of the day: Overnight soaked oats: Mix 1/2 cup uncooked oats with 1 cup plain low fat yoghurt. Leave overnight. In the morning you sprinkle this with fruit (for some sweetness) and seeds (protein- rich to keep you full) of your choice. Enjoy!!!!
